The invitation for my friend Lauren's engagement party has been on my refrigerator for weeks.I checked my calendar when the invitation first arrived and RSVP'd.
Since then, I've probably looked at it 100 times.
It clearly states that the party will be on Saturday, July 31 at 7pm...
So, what do I do? Promptly hire a babysitter, get dressed up and head out for a lovely evening...
...on Friday, July 30.
Boo.
(After the initial shock and awe of my mental lapse, Keith and I rallied and had a nice date night at Milton's, where we know the chef. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Roswell/Alpharetta area.)
